Prescription drugs can help us heal but when not managed properly, they can lead to problems. Most people understand how to take their medication safely and what the benefits are, but questions can arise about harmful side effects or how much of a drug is too much.
Learn how to manage your prescriptions, dispose of them safely and reduce the risk of prescription drug addiction for you and your loved ones. Join the G&M Hospital Foundation on Thursday, October 18th at 7 pm at the Collingwood Leisure Time Centre for a free education seminar “Understanding the Monster in My Medicine Cabinet”.
A panel of guest speaker experts will address common questions and concerns about prescription drug use. Guests will hear more about the warning signs and problems of prescription drug addiction, how to return unused or expired drugs for safe disposal and the management of prescription drugs at home.
Understanding all aspects of your prescription is very important. This seminar is designed to help local residents be educated consumers or better caregivers with regards to medication management. To reserve your free seat call 705-444-8645 or log on to www.cgmhf.com to register.
