Collingwood and Wasaga Beach McDonalds Restaurants will host “Teddy Bear “Check-ups” Saturday, April 27th to support the G&M Hospital Foundation’s New Age of Care Campaign.
Volunteers from the G&M Hospital Foundation will be on hand in the Collingwood and Wasaga Beach locations for the “Teddy Bear Check-up” between 11am and 1pm. Teddy’s or other stuffed toys will go through a mock medical check up after which children will be provided a Check-up Certificate and a McDonald’s bandage.
Donations are greatly appreciated for the ‘Check-up” and will help to support the G&M Hospital Foundation New Age of Care Campaign. Partial proceeds from McHappy Day, on Wednesday May 8th will also benefit the G&M Hospital Foundation along with the Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities.
“The Hospital is an important part of our community” says Vince Schneider, Manager of the Collingwood McDonalds. “We want to ensure that our Hospital has the equipment they need to make a fast accurate as well as raising money for Ronald McDonald Children's Charities.”
