Robert Fanelli & Linda Hill from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)
Robert and Linda will provide basic information and expectation around accident reporting and modified duties and return to work so everyone is on the same page in terms of expectations and process.
They will go over the obligation to report the accident, what constitutes suitable modified duties and what happens if they are not accepted. They will also cover the significance of the FAF & the Employer's obligation to accommodate early and safter return to work.
Linda Hill
Linda Hill has been with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) for over 15 years in both adjudication positions and as a manager since 2010. She also has an extensive healthcare background spanning over 25 years. She started as a Respiratory and Anesthesia Therapist and performed various management roles in areas such as Intensive Care, Emergency and Dialysis as well as Cardiorespiratory and Biomedical Services.
Robert Fanelli
Robert Fanelli has been with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board(WSIB) for over 20 years and has extensive adjudication experience working with both workers and employers in both large and small companies across a vast array of industries. He has been in managerial roles since 2005 and is currently the Assistant Director in the Industrial Sector of WSIB.
