The Collingwood Chamber of Commerce
is pleased to present a Power Lunch
on Tues. Oct 10th at 11:45am
with Guest Speaker -
The Honourable Michael Wilson
Based on his years as a cabinet minister in the Mulroney government, as Canada’s Ambassador the the U.S. and senior executive in the financial markets, Mr. Wilson will reflect on the similarities and differences from the past, in the state of relations between the U.S., Canada and other nations in such areas as trade, finance, workforce development, immigration, climate change, innovation and more.
With cabinet portfolios in finance, industry, trade, technology, as lead minister on the first NAFTA trade negotiation, and as a member of the diplomatic service, he is well qualified to consider lessons learned (or not), and see how they might apply in today’s ever changing and uncertain world.
