Spirit of Collingwood Tour

We are thrilled to announce the fifth annual Spirit of Collingwood Tour in Support of Home Horizon. This unique event takes place October 27, 2018 and based on last year success promises to be a sold out event!

We are mixing it up again this year with tours of some new locations including Alpine Ski Club, Georgian Peaks and Blue Mountain. Over 200 participants will sample tastings from some of our local spirits and appetizers supplied by local restaurants and of course dinner and dancing at Alpine Ski Club to end the evening!

The event is a great opportunity to showcase the quality of our local spirits while bringing together the community in support of the critical work Home Horizon does. Home Horizon, a local charitable organization, transforms the lives of youth at risk of homelessness by providing them with the opportunity to rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential. In July 2017 we opened the Barbara Weider House (BWH) dedicated to youth aged 16-24 facing homelessness. In addition to providing a safe, stable and affordable housing, we provide health and life skills education, mentorship, and individualized support plans for local, at-risk youth that helps them to set realistic goals and teaches them skills that last a lifetime. The BWH is the only facility in our community dedicated to serving youth at risk of homelessness.
