NEW Covid-19 Response Fund for Small to Medium Tourism Businesses

Posted: January 7, 2021

Financial Assistance for the Tourism Industry in their fight to stop the spread of COVID

Regional Tourism Organization 7 (RTO7) in collaboration with Simcoe County, Grey County, the City of Barrie and the City of Orillia will be administering non-repayable financial support ranging from $2,500 to $20,000 to small and medium tourism businesses in Grey and Simcoe counties and the cities of Barrie and Orillia.
The intention of this fund is to help offset the high cost of keeping patrons and staff safe while adapting to the changing health and safety requirements and the increasing safety demands during COVID-19.

All small to medium tourism businesses are encouraged to apply, including those that are owned, managed, led, or serviced by under-represented groups; Indigenous, Women, Francophone, Youth, Persons with Disabilities, Newcomers to Canada, Visible Minorities, and LGBTQ2+ communities to apply.  We also encourage Not-For-Profit organizations that support tourists to complete the application.

Application due by Sunday, January 31, 2021, 11:59pm.
