Philanthropic Planning Associate

Join a team of professionals who are passionate about helping charitable clients become successful foundation-funders using very personalized Donor Advised Funds (“DAF”s).  Canada Gives is a nationally registered charity, working with generous donors and their advisors all across Canada.  
We are currently hiring a Philanthropic Planning Associate in Collingwood, ON. 

The Role: 

The Philanthropic Planning Associate will report directly to the Director of Foundations & Donor Services, provide exceptional services to our donor clients to help them develop giving strategies that fit their unique goals and objectives.  

You will be working with affluent families to help them navigate the NFP sector and enter into meaningful relationships with key charity partners, so that they know their charitable dollars are creating an impact both for them and the recipient charities.  

We are looking for a planning professional, with experience in the financial services industry or as major gift planner at a large charitable organization.   

Qualifications 

• 5+ years working with high net worth families 
• Familiarity with family and multi-generational planning 
• Strong technical knowledge in donation strategy and estate planning is of value 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM 
• Well-organized and able to manage time independently
• CFRE or MFA-P designation is preferable.
