Hospice Georgian Triangle's Lights of Love House Lighting at Campbell House

At the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation our year-end campaign, the annual Wish List, takes on extra special meaning this year. Five years of providing exceptional palliative care at Campbell House has been made possible because of the generosity of our community. Over 820 patients and families have been cared for within Campbell House since August 2014 and thousands more have been supported in our community since HGT began in 1987.

The Wish List for 2019 is focused on providing Light and Love to our South Georgian Bay community. We are doing things a little differently this year and invite you to be a part of this new and novel way to support the delivery of palliative care to our community.

A new community event for 2019 has been inspired by our annual Memorial Celebration, our Lights of Love. This year, we will light up Campbell House and the new Robert C. and Ricki Thompson Sanctuary Garden on our grounds, together as a community. There will be hot apple cider and holiday treats. There will be music and laughter and perhaps a few tears. But most importantly there will be Lights and Love.

Please plan to join us on December 5th at 5:00 pm, outdoors at Campbell House. (Be sure to dress for the weather!)

You are invited to take part by sponsoring a light to decorate our Hospice home and garden. With your gift, you can add a name to our Lights of Love List to be displayed on our website. You may choose to honour someone special in your life as a holiday gift to them or you may prefer to make your gift in memory of your loved one. We will also display the List at the Lights of Love Launch at Campbell House on December 5th and throughout the holiday season.

If coming to our early evening event, please park at the Old Village (Legion) Park alongside the baseball diamond and soccer field on Erie Street or at the Collingwood Legion and walk up the driveway at 240 Erie Street to Campbell House for the Lights of Love Launch on December 5th.
