1. Scenic Caves Nature Adventures Nature, history and adventures for the whole family. Self-guided tour of caves, caverns and lookouts on the highest point of the Niagara Escarpment. Ontario’s longest Suspension Footbridge offers light adventure and the most spectacular views of Georgian Bay and surrounding countryside. Gemstone Mining, train ride, mini golf, trout pond, picnic areas, snack bar and gift shop. Please, no pets and running or hiking shoes are required. Open 7 days per week, May to October.
2.. Thunderbird Twin Zip Adventure The adrenaline really begins to pump in anticipation as you leave the 50ft tower of the Thunderbird Nest. Next you and a friend are soaring over the Escarpment for a half mile, one of the longest zip spans in Ontario. Thunderbird’s new technology allows the rider to control their own speed and even stop and enjoy the views while suspended over the Escarpment. On a clear day you’ll see Collingwood, Blue Mountains, Wasaga Beach… even Christian Island and beyond! This adventure also includes access to the Suspension Bridge with a 10,000 square kilometers of beautiful country-side and the deep blue expanse of Georgian Bay over 300 metres below. Open May through October (check website for operating days/times).

Scenic Caves Nordic Adventure With our unique location high atop Blue Mountain, we created the most varied natural playground anywhere in Ontario. 27 kms cross country ski trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing. Snowshoe across Ontario’s Longest Suspension Footbridge providing spectacular views or on the 10 km of snowshoe trails. Ski and snowshoe equipment rentals available. Warm up hut serving delicious hot foods, waxing facilities, and lessons available. Guided night snowshoe hikes. Open 7 days per week, December to March.
